    ONE KILO MESSAGE
Message in a bottle – we are (?) lonely, does someone out there read us? Dr. Tibor Pacher is a dedicated figure promoting concepts of interstellar flight and extraterrestrial, possibly intelligent life. He is the principle mind behind the „MiniSpaceWorld“ project. Space enaissance Institute officially supports MSW. Together with Karin Remeikis and Martin Stern, I articipated in the MSW. Our team was ‚Team Paradon‛. It was my pleasure, as a member of SRI to pend an evening with Dr. Pacher and to discuss with him about his ideas, and projects. Dr. Pacher has initiated a project called ‚One Kilo message‛. I would like to convey this project to SRI. The essence of the project is to carry message from human kind into deep space. Dr. Pacher considers the deep space missions (even the ones with present technology) to have potentials to carry ‚something physical‛ that can represent humanity. However, this added payload should not cost significantly on the scientific payload. Keeping that in mind one kilo added payload weight seems logical. Dr. Pacher thinks, all future missions can carry such an add-on module, which may act like a ‚Business Card‛ of humanity. He also likes to use the term „Message in a bottle“. Human kind is solitary, marooned, isolated, confined in a single place in the vastness of space (which is infinity in common perception). Like the ancient marooned or castaway sailors used to put a message in a bottle, and throw it in the sea, ...
